Faustina Okomayin is a seasoned Content and IP sales executive, Filmmaker and results-oriented Project Manager with over 10 years of experience driving success within the Nigerian Creative Industry. Her expertise spans the entire filmmaking process, from writing and producing to directing impactful narratives leading to global sales and audience development. She currently serves as a Sales Agent at Afrofilms Global, an international sales agency based in the United Kingdom. Additionally, she is a certified Channel Manager with expertise in overseeing and optimizing both YouTube and FAST channels.
Acknowledged for her talent and potential, Faustina was awarded the 2024 British Council Film Lab Africa Grant for her short film ‘RALIA’S SECRET’. Her notable film credits include “UME (BREATHE)”, ‘WHAT IF?’ and ‘PAINDEMIC’.
Formerly a Project Manager at Pawstudios Africa, Faustina has facilitated impactful workshops and managed stage productions. Her contributions to film industry growth include serving as a Film Programmer and Festival Administrator for the Lagos Fringe Festival for over five years and programming roles with Accra Indie Film Fest (2025). Faustina also contributed to the Social Impact Media Awards (SIMA) as a Preselection Committee Member in 2023.
Her commitment to professional development is evident through her participation in programs such as the International Sales and Distribution Executive program (2025), the British Council Festival Management Program (2024 – 2025), the British Council Film Lab Africa (2024), and the EbonyLife Creative Academy’s Director’s Toolkit (2022).
